All players start on the same machine each round. After everyone plays one full game, the lowest score is eliminated; the rest advance to the next round on the next machine. Repeat until one player remains — your Champion.
The format is fast, hype, and easy for newcomers to follow, while keeping pressure high for seasoned players chasing points.
Resolve ties for last place with a one-ball playoff on the current (or backup) machine. If multiple players are tied for last, all tied players play the tiebreak.
Under WPPR v6.2, Amazing Race rounds count toward meaningful games differently depending on whether rounds are played serially (everyone completes the same machine before moving on) or concurrently (some players start the next machine before all players have finished the current one).
Entire field completes a machine before anyone starts the next. That machine counts +1 meaningful game toward TGP.
Players may begin the next machine early. Each such machine counts +⅓ meaningful game toward TGP.
Run concurrent early rounds for speed, then switch to serial for the final rounds to boost value. For instance, in a 16-player finals: first 12 eliminations concurrent (12 × ⅓ = +4), last 4 eliminations serial (4 × 1 = +4), totaling +8 meaningful games from finals.
“Amazing Race (v6.2-ready) — Everyone plays the same game, lowest score is out, and we march to the next machine until one champion remains. We’ll run early rounds fast, then slow down for a high-value serial finish for points. New to pinball? It’s easy to follow and a blast to play. Pros—bring your nerves of steel.”
